Way to prove to the doubters that your shitty conference didn't deserve multiple bids right!

Well, they didn't get to presented with as good an opportunity as the OVC did.

These putzes from bullshit conferences sing the same song every year.

And then the playoffs start...

You've never claimed that the MEAC is suddenly the MVFC, Rocks. Not directed at you.

When did anyone claim that?

Embellishment. Look it up.

But we have had one PL poster claim that Fordham is the best team in the east this year and several posters giving B-Cook way too many props.

Take an average MVFC, Big Sky, CAA, etc team and put 'em in the MEAC or PL and they'll look like world beaters. We all know it. Some just can't admit it.

Well, yeah, I know about the Patriot & even Pioneer bluster on AGS. I don't tend to see that from the few MEAC fans that actually post, though. Wasn't most of the pro-BCU stuff been from neutral fans?

I do think the MEAC & OVC teams are truly better than they show in the playoffs. I don't know if the long win drought has got into their heads or what, but there's been a lot of solid teams the last 14 years that've totally pissed their pants once the calendar rolls past Thanksgiving. TSU technically ended the Ohio Valley curse, but they got a virtual first-round bye. We'll see how JSU does starting in 20 minutes, though that game may be a unique case because the Gamecocks & Samford were conference rivals not long ago.

The facts say otherwise. Since 99' MEAC is 0-18.

Can they show worse than they do in the playoffs?

Well, I guess they could all play like Butler every time. The MEAC's at least had some close calls, like SCSU's two near upsets of App State a few years ago.

if we are going to give credit for close calls UNI has 2 or 3 national titles

My bad. That's 0-19 since the 99' qtr finals.
