I voted for SDSU vs NAU. I think that game is going to have an impact on the playoffs.

It was tough to pick between NAU/SDSU or SUU/SHSU. I picked NAU/SDSU because we need to see which of these shitty teams moves on.

Interesting that the highest number of votes is for the one I voted for. I picked it because I think if South Dakota State wins that the Jackrabbits could be trouble for Eastern Washington. Not that I don't think they'd be the underdog. But I think that, basically, Eastern Washington as the number 3 seed would be rewarded with the toughest second round opponent among the seeds. And a team that can run the football with physicality.

FWIW, here is the top 10 of that ranking composite Massey maintains with 46 systems reporting:

1. North Dakota State
2. Eastern Illinois
3. Southeastern Louisiana
4. Eastern Washington
5. Towson
6. Montana
7. South Dakota State
8. Maine
9 McNeese State
10. Coastal Carolina

South Dakota State is rated 6th in each of the two systems I look at most (Sagarin and Massey). By Sagarin, if the two were to meet, Eastern Washington would be a 3 1/2 point favorite (3.63). And that's almost entirely because of home field. The difference in the two teams' ratings is only 0.06.

I voted for the Bayou Classic so it wouldn't have 0 votes. Otherwise my vote is split between SUU/SHSU and NAU/SDSU

Good God those are some craptastic games. I'll go with NAU I guess.

I think the best game is going to be NAU vs SDSU, NAU thinks they got jobbed and has something to prove. I think the Jackrabbits stick it to them and win 33-21. I also thought CCU BCU would be interesting, mainly because we play the winner, but it looks like they are fairly similar in the ratings.

It's also a rematch of last year, but unfortunately for BCC, CCU is probably a better team than the one that beat them last year.
