SHSU is in some serious trouble....a loss here could jeapordize a return to the playoffs and a third chance at losing to NDSU in the chipper...

IMO = this game will determine whether SHSU hosts a game or not…

I'll be watching on ESPN3. Fortunately for Sam Houston State there's hope that they can run the football and now they've had a week to game plan with whoever the backup quarterback is going to be. And Central Arkansas is also without the stud quarterback they started the season with.
I'm pulling for Sam Houston State under the assumption that it'll improve McNeese's chances of getting a top 8 seed if the Bearkats win. They played both teams so I don't know if who wins will matter in power ratings but I figure it's got to help if McNeese has a win over a team that's going to be in the playoffs. Don't really know but that's my gut feeling.
NOTE: I know that McNeese has to win at Lamar to be considered for a top 8 seed and I know that is not a layup.

By the way: Is it my imagination or has there been a dramatic decline in Sam Houston State fan activity on this board?
If so methinks they risk being categorized as "fair weather fans!" I mean, they're playing for a playoff spot today. It's not like they're going to go 1-11.
