I know CSU is 9-1, however they don't have a great SoS. :coffee:

Maine doesn't have the bad loss that Montana State does.

Somebody here doesn't watch much football and votes on only one issue.

Repeat after me...MSU has a DII win and LOST to a 3-6 team...a loss that was NOT an accident since they gave up 52 points and well over 500 yards to that 3-6 team.

Cripes, Fordham has a better resume than MSU.

At the risk of starting this up again ...the D2 is probably equal to the Bryant and Norfolk State wins.

Mr T - care to explain how you have Montana 3 spots ahead of NAU?

I could explain it, but you won't care until I have the two schools reversed, so it really doesn't matter.

So in other words, no reason, just a homer vote. Got it - another delusional Montana fan that is clueless about football. :thumb:

Here's the tl;dr version: The way I do my polls it's much harder for teams to move up than move down, and when NAU beat UM the two were very far a part in the polls. NAU may not have even been in my poll at that point.

So you are so married to your pre-season poll you ignore the real world. Got it.

My preseason poll looks nothing like this one. Luckily we all have the freedom to build our polls differently. See, I told you there'd be no point in explaining.

He just isn't tolerant of others thoughts.

What I have a problem with is putting undefeated or one-loss teams from historically weak conferences (I'm looking at you, Charleston Southern and Bethune Cookman) so high in the polls...these teams will historically be one-and-done in the tournament, taking a spot from a more deserving team that lost 3-4 games playing a schedule that is significantly more difficult.

Do you consider EIU one of those, being from a historically weak conference? I have a hard time ranking Ivy's very high for the same reason.
