To go from 4-0 and #2 in the country to 4-5 and last place in the MVC.

Better get clenz on this one...
UNI is going to lose to YSU and MSU and might win at home against WIU.
5-7 after starting out 4-0.
They have had some injuries but better depth would have definitely helped them out. 3 straight OT losses has to be demoralizing for the team.

Injuries are a big part of the problem. Questionable play calling continues. Very disappointing.

Losing the best defensive player Farley MLB has been the biggest loss IMO. Run stopper and great leader on the defense. DJ's hip pointer must still be bothering him because when he is healthy he is probably the best run/catch RB in the FCS.
Funny thing is that UNI could still finish 7-5 and still be in consideration for a playoff spot. The Iowa State win is still a huge win but they would be 3-5 in conference play and I don't think they would make it on that.

UNI injury list that someone posted on PN. (not neccessarily a complete list, but what they could think of off the top of their head)
Ben Wallace (starting OL, out for season)
Mac O'Brien (starting DL, out for season)
Bret LeMaster (Best WR, our for season)
Phil Wright (starting WR, out for season)
Sam Rohr (Starting TE, out for season)
Evan Williams (backup RB, out for first half of season)
Jake Farley (starting MLB, best defensive player, out for season)
Tim Kilfoy (Starting S, out for season)
David Johnson (hurt today, on crutches)
Sawyer Kollmorgen (2nd concussion, could be done)
Other key guys who have missed games:
Xavier Williams (starting DL)
Brion Carnes (QB/returner)
Sam Tim (LB/DB)

D1B dropped a turd in the toilet before he left and did not flush. UNI has never been the same since.
