We had a blizzard in the Twin Cities that day. I watched the end of the game on ESPN 3 when I got home, shoveled into my driveway and feed my snow bound friends. I was happy just to make the playoffs that year and said oh shucks when the game ended. The game was lost when the EWU drove damn near the length of the field and scored. That hurt more than the fumble. Anyway, 2 championships later, same group of players, I like our chances.

I like NDSU's chances for a 3-peat.

Please explain why the FCS was 'down' the last 2 years. I hope NDSU gets matched up with EWU and their very mediocre defense. Their offense is very good but their defense is nothing like NDSU's. Same with EIU, very mediocre defense. NDSU gives up 12.5 points/game.....I'll take that anyday.

EWU better hope they get in the opposite bracket cus they will not make it past the semis if they are in the Bison's bracket.

Like I said, I like the Bison's chance for a 3-peat.

NDSU has an awesome defense against the run, but are not set up to play catch up. A quick strike offense that gets ahead can win. Watching the Bison, it is amazing how the get out of bad situations by Jensen running the draw. That one play has been amazing for them.
