Eags allowed 400 yards rushing, at home, to the worst Griz team in a quarter century, and need a miracle, pulled-out-of-their asses comeback to get the win last year. That said, I expect the Griz to get a eek out a close, hard-fought victory. I'll go with 38-35. :thumb:

I just don't see the score being that high. Something in the teens/twenties seems more probable.

Possibly, but I think Eastern will come out firing on all cylinders offensively and force the Griz to keep up; which also means we'll need to do something other than call a stretch play on every down. :x

You mean Phenecie isn't going to be coaching again?

You mean like the miracle pulled out of their asses wins Montana got in 2007 and 2009?

Anyway, that was last year and we still won despite all those rushing yards.

Eags win this one, 31-27.

Just stating the truth, didn't mean it as smack. This series has had some great, close games the past several years.
And unless Eastern's run D has improved significantly, I think the Griz will have another big day running the ball, and keep Adams and company off the field. We shall see.

Could be true, but all reports are that Trayvon Van is out.

Eagles should be ecstatic about that. He's our best RB, IMO.

I agree he is, but if the coaches will actually let him, I think Counts would do a great job in Van's absence.

I think I'm the only Montana fan not on the Joey Counts bandwagon. Don't get me wrong, I like him, and I think he's a good player, but I haven't seen anything from him (like good cuts, vision, etc.) other than that he's huge and can hit the hole hard. Too many Griz fans think that's all you need to be successful.

IMO, no matter how you look at it, we're a substantially worse rushing team with Van out.

Although, no matter who is running the ball, if our O-Line plays like it did last Saturday, we won't put up any rushing numbers.

I am going to be at this game so it sure as hell better be a good one. :thumb:

If we play like we did against NAU and CP, we will loose. If we can play as well or better than when we beat PSU and UCD, we should get a W. If the pattern is right for how we have played this year, we get a couple good games then a bad one. I am hoping we just had a bad one and can get back to playing better. We do owe the Eags a big fat L.

Amen....joey counts really is not impressive. He has done nothing, he has not made any positives out the opportunities he's received. Once again players are saying he is not 100% and has fumblitis in practice. He is not the second coming of Dan Moore and never will be. From what I have seen of him, he doesn't get the read of the line very quick and often just goes to the a gap no matter if its open or not. Also if he does have fumble issues...then that's probably why. Running through those gaps is no easy task.

Yeah, all he's done is average 5.2 ypc on the measley 35 carries he's been given this season. Oh, and our one loss just happned to be the only game in which he didn't get a single touch. Coincidence? I think not. :tothehand: :coffee:

Wasn't he tty he back who got stuffed at the goal line last year yet had the quick thought to toss the ball back to the QB who easily scored?

That was Kirschner IIRC.

I am disturbed by your lack of a "no homo" addendum to that post. :?

No, I will not make it. I will likely make it to the EWU/MSU game in Cheneyville on Nov. 9th, however.

Also, when EWU releases their game release, I will post a game thread that I'm sure will be derailed a few posts in. :ohno:

I will be sure to let Mr. T know to keep tabs on that thread and BAN anyone that derails said thread.

Sorry you won't be making the game. As of right now, I have that weekend available so we could meet up for some cocktails.

EWU has shitty fans and a worse football team. Montana will beat them by at least 1 point. ;)

This is why Griz fans suck. They continually FIFY threads to make them seem smart. :ohno: :ohno:

We all know GATW is from Helena, and Helena hasn't produced anything productive......
