You actually think the EWU v. UND game will be that close?
Thanks for the love for my SUU T-birds.

UND scores in garbage time

If we don't have 33 points by halftime, I give up on the season.
No way it will be that close.

Swap the PSU game. Bigger spread in the EWU game. If it weren't for the OT rule, the UNC game could well end up a scoreless tie. UM game about right. CP game about right. Sac wins by somewhere between 5 and 10.

Weber 14-56 Cal Poly — Weber is not Yale… more like Columbia
Montana 31-10 Davis — The Aggies have one Manzaneres, the Griz used to have two
NAU 17-14 Sac State — Sac can outscore NAU's offense, but I'm not sure they can outscore NAU's defense
NoCo 28-23 Idaho St. — Toilet Bowl II; I'm going with the better defense
Portland St. 35-20 Suutah — Pumpkin time for the Southern Utah Cinderellas
EWU 38-17 NoDak — North Dakota's team has been almost as disappointing as their nickname

Clearly I don't know anymore. 37-19 for the year is really sad. Need perfection once again. Lately, I've been close, but close to predicting the losers. Here are my predictions for this week.
EWU at UND---At the beginning of the season, the former Sioux were feeling good, getting the three top dogs all at home. But they gave up 50+ to Montana and 50+ to Montana State. Surely the Eagles can do that, or better...EWU 50, UND 24.
UM at UCD---The Aggies have been winning with their defense and the Grizzlies have a really potent offense. The Aggies may be able to contain the Grizzlies offense, but the Grizzlies defense should have no problem stopping the Aggies offense (or lack of it)...UM 24, UCD 21.
NAU at Sac State---The Hornets have risen to the top of the conference but beating Weber State and Northern Colorado will do that. The Lumberjacks got a big win against Montana but have struggled in their road games. The Hornets get a big win here...Sac State 27, NAU 24.
UNC at ISU---The Bears were supposed to be better than this and one could argue that the Bengals were supposed to be worse. The best way to get a win is to score a lot of points, something that fits well in arena football. And they are playing in an arena...ISU 34, UNC 30.
PSU at SUU---So far the Vikings have shown that the only ones who can stop them are themselves. The Thunderbirds are hoping to right the ship after last week's debacle against UC-Davis. The Vikings won't get out of their way again, but maybe they don't have to here...PSU 35, SUU 31.
WSU at CP---The only good thing about last week's loss to Yale was that it did not affect the Mustangs conference start, and now they get back in the swing of things with the Wildcats. The Wildcats are hoping to catch the Mustangs napping, something that won't happen a second week...CP 38, WSU 10.

EWU at UND - Blowout win.
UM at cal davis - Comfortable win.
NAU at Sac State - Close one. Not having a kicker cost us this matchup in 2011, I think history repeats itself in this one.
UNC at ISU - Toss up, I'm going with a road team trend this week.
PSU at SUU - Depends on which team shows up...for either team.
WSU at CP - Blowout win.

I take it that EWU is done for the year then

There must be something in the water for EWU fans. Ranger may have got the actual score wrong on the Sac game, but he sure got the spread (not to mention the direction of the spread) right, and while SE didn't bother predicting scores, he sure got the directionality and the size of the spread right.
Congrats, guys.

Hopefully the Hornet implosion will lead to Sperbeck not getting a contract renewal. The Hornet coaching staff is utterly clueless when coaching with a lead.

Yep. MSU can feel free to play backups and not bother to bring a kicker when they come to Cheney. Should be an easy game for you gals.

At least you can actually get the lead in a game.

I missed one this week going 5-1..Thought Portland St could beat SUU but they were suffering a Griz hang over. 52-10 overall this year. Looking forward to the next 2 weeks!

My bad, 4-2. 41-21 for the year. Too sad when I can count on Idaho State more than Portland State.
