Hey I was the only one to go undefeated!

That being said I fear Delaware could go winless the rest of the way. Lots of holes.

Well that's probably the best game Albany has played this year. Didn't turn out well, but at least we showed up for 57 minutes this week. 47 more minutes than last week.

Dane you guys have some talent on your OL. You guys pushed us around like rag dolls on your run blocking most of the game. #77 in particular is a stud.

Turnovers were even at 1 a piece. UR outgained JMU 487-346, but JMU actually had more yds through 3 qtrs before UR’s furious 4th qtr rally. JMU held UR to 9 points & 233 yds through the 1st 3 qtrs. Then UR got 22 points & 254 yds in a furious 4th qtr rally. After JMU went up 38-16 with 11+ min left in the game, someone apparently told the JMU players the game was over and forgot to tell the UR players….

UR came in with the #1 passing offense in the CAA, and the last place rushing offense, and it showed. JMU held UR to 64 yds rushing. On the other hand, not a good day for JMU’s secondary. Big UR OL avg about 6’5”/308. Not sure why they don’t have a better running game.

UR ran 88 plays. Stauss was 41 of 64, 423 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT. Again, over half of that in the 4th qtr. Think the JMU defense got gassed in the 4th. I don’t recall ever seeing anyone attempt 64 passes against JMU. And that was after 1 of UR's 2 stud receivers, Stephen Barnette #29, got injured in the 1st qtr and didn't return....

The last 2 games JMU has added in a lot of play action, which has really helped their passing game, as Albany and esp UR have overplayed the run. Birdsong continues to get a little better every game. Was 25 of 40, 262 yds, 2 TDs passing, 1 rushing (plus another rushing that was called back due to a holding penalty), 1 INT.

Like I said, UR overplayed the run and did a very good job. Held JMU to 84 yds rushing. Held Dae’Quan Scott to 42 yds on 13 carries.

JMU 13 turnovers threw 1st 4 games. Only 3 through the last 3.....

RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 14, 2013) – CAA Football's Player of the Week honorees for the seventh week of the 2013 season are featured below. A link to each school's release will be added to the player's name over the course of the week as releases become available.

Offensive Player of the Week: John Robertson, Soph., QB, Villanova
Robertson was nearly perfect in Villanova's 45-35 victory over No. 3/2 Towson on Saturday. The sophomore sensation piled up 332 total yards in the win, opening the game with 17 straight completions and finishing 17-of-18 for 182 yards and two touchdowns through the air to go with 150 yards and three scores on a career-best 32 carries – the most by a Wildcat since 2007. Robertson's effort marked his sixth-career 100-yard rushing game and his second-ever outing with three rushing touchdowns.

Defensive Player of the Week: Cameron McCurry, Soph., S, Villanova
McCurry cops his first-career weekly honor behind a complete all-around performance that helped the Wildcats snap Towson's 10-game winning streak. In addition to his five tackles, the sophomore secured a first-quarter fumble recovery that led to a Nova touchdown before blocking a PAT on the Tigers' ensuing drive. McCurry would return his team-leading fourth interception of the season for 25 yards early in the fourth quarter to finish with two of Wildcats' five forced turnovers in the win.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Dejor Simmons, Jr., KR, James Madison
Simmons finished with a career-high 141 yards on three kickoff returns in Saturday's 38-31 win over in-state rival Richmond. The junior highlighted his stellar play on the second half's opening kickoff, which he returned a conference- and school-record tying 100 yards for his second collegiate score. The 100-yard return was just the second such return in program history and the team's first kickoff return for a touchdown since 2008.

Rookie of the Week: Kwe'shon Williams, R-Fr., CB, James Madison
Williams showed no signs of an injury that prevented him from playing the previous week, turning in a career day in JMU's win over the Spiders. The rookie finished with career highs with nine tackles, including four solo, and three pass breakups. Williams also came away with his second-career interception, which he returned 35 yards and that led to touchdown that gave the Dukes a 28-9 third-quarter advantage.
