UD @ Maine should be the best game. I think UD has the better team but will be very tough for them:
-Coming off a big win.
-Long road trip practically to Canada.
-UD has been at home 4 of 5 games, and the only time they ventured from Newark it was a disaster.
-Playing in crap facilities (at least on Visitor's side).
-Will be playing in front of much smaller crowd. Maine had listed attendance of 5,863 for their only home game so far, Bryant. I see its not Maine's homecoming, but is their "Family and Friends" weekend. Could they have a bigger crowd, more like 8k?

Since JMU doesn't play Maine, it benefits JMU's SOS if UD wins, and makes JMU's loss look not as bad. So as much as it PAINS me to do, I will be pulling for UD, and predict them to win a close one.

They shouldn't have. Both teams were 6-2 CAA, and TU kicked the sh*t out if UNH.

Easy answer...UNH had a better record. Towson had a choice & they chose the $$ scheduling two 1-A's right?

If record is more important that SOS as you seem to imply, , how come Lehigh didn't get in at 10-1?

I think UNH is going to beat Towson ... and, I'm not sure why

They were up on Lehigh 27-13 in the 3rd, and just shut down. Idiots.

None of us are in the room, but now we're rehashing arguments that took place last November that the Towson State guys won't let go of - they sound like House Republicans :kisswink: .

Towson State was 7-4, UNH was 8-3 and they were only going to take so many from a weaker than years past CAA and I guess they figured 3 losses were better than 4. Results on the field do count for something, and I know Towson State beat the hell out of UNH the last week of the season but they do judge on the entire body of work. Lehigh? The Patriot was god awful last season & Lehigh didn't win their league. Most years the Patsy is going to be a one-bid league. This year with Fordham beating Villanova & Temple along with the fact Lehigh beat UNH leans right now toward a 2-bid 2013.

Hope you're right. :notworthy:

That would bring a 7-1 UD team (yes I'm looking past Albany and URI) down to Unitas Stadium to face Towson in a huge contest for CAA pecking order.

I'm a bit surprised at how much Stony Brook is favored by.

I love that term. I called my nephews that at the beach and everyone looked at me weird.

You are assuming we are all linemen. Not the case.

You all have some sort of head trauma or orthopedic issue. That's the beauty of never having been in the ring. Bill and I are still witty, spry, and coherent. And we never farted on anyone's hands.
