The Big South's tormenting of the Southern Conference this season - six wins, including two more on Saturday, Coastal Carolina over Elon and Charleston Southern over Appalachian State - has helped tighten the gap nationally.

In fact, the Big South (Coastal and Gardner-Webb) joins the Ohio Valley Conference (Eastern Illinois and UT Martin) and the Patriot League (Fordham and Lehigh) with two teams in the national rankings. The MEAC (Bethune-Cookman and North Carolina A&T) is getting close to having two ranked teams and the Ivy League is enjoying a good start to its season.

Clearly, the top conferences may have to look in their rear-view mirrors.

WHo has EWU been playing that has them at #2 with a .5 winning percentage?
While they've updated the records, this must be last week's poll still. Maine is still on the outside and Montana is at #7. At a minimum both of those will change.

Reading is for rich people.

I did read it. What is the point of updating the records on a poll and not the ranking?

Isn't this last week's poll with just updated records? No way JMU is still #14 and UD is unranked.

That has been stated no less than 2 times. Try to keep up. Silly me, expecting a week 5 poll to be up to date.

This is really updated?

NO LOVE for Charleston Southern???? 5-0, with 4 road wins, one over The Citadel, one over App State? Im not saying they should be top 10 or 15. But come on, after G-W beat Wofford, one would think 2-2 Wofford would be out and 5-0 CSU could be in at 23rd or so. I mean Richmond is in at 2-3. C'mon man!

Yeah, but I think this is the previous week with updated records. No way JMU is still #14 and UD is unranked.

As of 1:00 today. CSU received 41 votes. You guys keep winning and you'll get there.
