It was my understanding that in the 2nd year of the new Big Sky logo, all teams needed to add the logo to their football fields and basketball courts. However, after watching Weber State and Montana, neither has done so. Am I incorrect in understanding that they were suppose to update and add the logos? I mean its like a MW team using the old purple mountain logo on their field instead of the MW. Anyone have any information on the specifics of this?

who cares! it costs money to do that shxt and theres probably a two season grace period. So I believe you can expect to see updated logos by next season.

I didn't see them on our field during the scrimmages and doubt they were added. Unless the BSC wants to cut us a check for the install, doubt you will ever see them on our turf.

I forgot where I saw a photo of it, but EWU has the new logo on the red turf.

Even if you do install it, no one will see it.

I believe Montana has said no to it numerous times. It's the institution's facility so I imagine it's at their discretion on whether or not it's implemented.

Why are there so many Big Sky-team fans on this site? Especially Montana.

I caught the North Dakota game on TV and saw it there, displayed pretty prominently. They may not have a mascot, but they have the logo.

It's definitely been a good run for NDSU and AppSt in between, but let's not forget that the 5th place team in the CAA would probably be top 3 in any other conference in any given year. And the 5th place team in another conference would have a losing record in the CAA. Facts.

Note: The Big Sky has 2 in that same timeframe.

Only the SoCon can match the number of championships in that timeframe, also with 5, but it was only two teams and they are both leaving the SoCon.

Note: The Sky normally only gets 2 teams in! = 2/16 of those titles should belong to the sky... and the sky pulled down titles in '01 & 2010!! that's 2 in 9 seasons.. with less than half the teams in on average!

Ill put it this way, The CAA had 1/3rd of the teams in, but doesn't have a 3rd of the NC trophies to show for it.
The Big Sky has 12% of the NC trophies to show for its playoff appearances.
