Kickoff scheduled for 7pm PDT from Portland's JELD-WEN field. The Eastern Oregon Mountaineers from the NAIA's Frontier Conference play at the Portland State Vikings from the FCS Big Sky. This will be the 11th meeting of the two teams with Eastern Oregon holding a 7-3 advantage. This will be the second year in a row that the Vikings open against a Frontier Conference opponent, having played Carroll College last year. The Mountaineers have been in the NAIA playoffs recently but are predicted to finish in the middle of the Frontier Conference this season.
