Appalachian football's annual fan-fest is Saturday the 17th, at The Rock
The Good
- It's free this year (after several years of admission-charging fail)
7PM — Scrimmage (anticipated: 100 plays)
Fireworks display following scrimmage
5PM — Gates open for photos, autographs, kid's activities'
Parking is free
The Bad
- Student move-in is Saturday the 17th
Stadium Lot open for tail-gating 1PM
The Ugly
- After several '4-ball' days of pure gorgeous-ness, the weather is going to suck
Student move-in is Saturday the 17th (Is there an echo in here?)
Celebrate the momentous, historic move to FBS and 8-4 2012 season by purchasing a game-worn jersey for $75
(discounted from $110)

For accuracy's sake, the admission charge was only to non-season ticket holders and was to cover the cost of having a band play after the scrimmage. I never really cared about the band, and thought that it was a stupid idea (we have football, who needs average music?). But, I used my free access to stay for the scrimmage and then left before the concert.
