That was part of the problem for us. There was no compliance staff, just one part timer who I think was a professor at the school. It's another expense for schools with a small budget, and I'm guessing we were not the only one where the coaches played a roll.SuperHornet wrote:What part of that is Pflu responsible for? The article makes no reference to Pflu. That stands to reason because most assistants have NOTHING to do with academic compliance. Sure, our DL coach while I was at Sac State was specially tagged for that duty, but not every coach is. That's what the school compliance staff are for. If there's been a screw-up, THAT's where you should look, NOT a coach who was railroaded out of his previous job for no legit reason whatsoever....
I'm pretty sure it was more of a joke.SuperHornet wrote:What part of that is Pflu responsible for? The article makes no reference to Pflu. That stands to reason because most assistants have NOTHING to do with academic compliance.
How do you not have a compliance officer?kalm wrote:That was part of the problem for us. There was no compliance staff, just one part timer who I think was a professor at the school. We do have a full-time compliance officer as of a few years ago. He was talking more specific to the events that led up to our infractions back in 2008ish.clenz wrote:How do you not have a compliance officer?kalm wrote:
