:ohno:

On September 7th, The Grizzlies have a BYE. On September 21st, the Grizzlies host the mighty Oklahoma Panhandle State team....here's a list of possible available replacements that would at least be a counter at the FCS level.

Sept 7th:

Charleston Southern (playing somebody named Shorter  )
Houston Baptist
Illinois State
North Dakota State
Western Illinois (playing Quincy instead)
San Diego (playing Western New Mexico instead)

Sept 21st:

James Madison
New Hampshire
Towson (playing North Carolina Central)
Presbyterian (ok, no buzz, but at least it's a counter!)
Charlotte
Howard
NC A&T
SC State (playing Benedict....WHO?)
Indiana State
Bryant
Robert Morris
Tennessee Martin
Campbell
Dayton
Marist
Valparaiso
Georgia Southern

This.

Plus, most of those schools would require us to travel to their place to even get an offer.

I hate the D2 game, but it's a 12-game schedule, so it's not that bad. We have just as many D-1 games this year as we had last year.

NCCU is in the MEAC. What benefit would it be for Towson to swap out one FCS opponent for another?

Who gives a fuck. You telling me any of these wouldn't be better than whatever weak-ass alternative OOC game is on their schedule? When it comes to king of the hill, biggest draw, name recognition and all around fucking coolness, the Montana Grizzlies hold the title. Any of these piss ant schools would be LUCKY to have the Grizzlies on thier schedule. :coffee: :coffee:

You're not lumping all those directional schools together, are you? ;)

I have no idea why we are playing NC Central, other than recruiting in the Carolinas. Even so, it's NCCU! I would love to play Montana over NCCU or Holy Cross(9/7).

Both JMU and GSU have only 11 games with 9/21 as one of their bye weeks.

Alot of JMU fans have been clamoring for the last several months for 12 games.

Also you'd think since GSU is playoff ineligible that they'd at east want to have 12 games....
