I like the year Buster Skrine had. How does this team stack up?

Receivers, QB and O-Line look good top to bottom. Otherwise not as impressive as I was expecting.

Just as I expected.

Any "all-star" team that includes Tony Romo at quarterback has ZERO cred....

He's a lot better than Danny White would be behind that offensive line.

Also interesting is that Romo had to throw it more than 40 times per game this season. :?

Who would you put a head of him? There were 4 QB's from the FCS that started games this year...

Rate them in the order you would take them based on that....

A - 317-531 (59.7 %) 3,817 yards 22 TD 10 INT 87.7 passer rating 46.8 QBR
B - 425-648 (65.6%) 4,903 yards 28 TD 19 int 90.5 passer rating 62.7 QBR
C - 109-201 (54%) 1,139 yards 2 TD 9 INT 55.4 passer rating 13.4 QBR
D - 306-505 (60.6%) 3,400 yards 24 TD 16 INT 83.3 passer rating 45.8 QBR

Um...no.

White was a multi-position player. Romo can't be bothered with that.

I'll take Flacco's results, clenz. Flacco AND White have something in common (or will, in two weeks) that Romo will likely NEVER see: playing in a Super Bowl....

You didn't tell me which QB you'd take based on those stats.

Results aside, because that has a lot to do with the entire team.

I fucked up by putting the names in the spoil

OK. Since I've seen the spoil, dumping it does you no good, clenz. ;-)

The 3,800-some-odd yards is more than respectable. That combined with nearly ten fewer picks leads me to take Flacco.

Yeah, White went 1/2 for 5 yards. Oooooooooooo:roll:

Yeah, White went 1/2 for 5 yards. Oooooooooooo:roll:
You're cherry picking, Venus. White had OTHER stats in that game, too....

Say, just for fun, that Romo leads the Cowboys to victories in the next two Super Bowls . . . Would Danny White still be better?

So, you're saying Danny White is a better quarterback than Tony Romo because White got to the Super Bowl as a punter…

Danny White is better than Tony Romo because he was a better overall quarterback, a better leader, and a more complete player. He's also been inducted into a couple of HOFs that I know of, which is something Romo will never even SNIFF....

Remember when Cowboys fans were begging for Bledsoe/Romo to play, and for Quincy Carter/Bledsoe to be benched?

Least popular people in Dallas at any given moment:

1a) Whoever the QB is
1b) Whoever the coach is

Keep up the "whining" SH

Actually, the least popular person in Dallas is Jerry Jones, who thinks he's God's gift to adminstration, scouting, and coaching, but can't do ANY of them right. We should have seen this coming with the unceremonious way he canned the best coach in NFL history and kicked out the best player the game has ever seen.

(OK, so not many will agree with that last statement, but there are PLENTY who would agree with the one previous to it....)

Not to get in the way of SH menstruating all over the place, but I would have thought two time pro bowler LT Jermon Bushrod would have made this listing.

that could be applied to almost any team in football. I was one of those pro-Romo people. The moral is be careful what you ask for.

Romo is already in the EIU hall of fame.

He's also a Payton winner, which is even rarer than being in some sort of HOF. :thumb:

If that happens, then I know the devil truly buys souls. And yes Danny White would still be better.

Romo is good enough to get his team to the Super Bowl if he plays smart and the rest of the team actually contributes. I am not saying he is fantastic, but I would wager if he had the right pieces around him he could QB a Super Bowl team.

Up until this past season I would have given my left nut(no offense kalm) for Romo to QB the Skins.

Flacco didn't play the last game of the season and was easily on track for 4,000 yards. You give him the receivers that Cowboys have and you keep Caldwell as the OC he'll throw for 5,000 yards.

How time flies! I remember seeing Matt Birk lead Harvard's Ivy title team at the Yale Bowl in '97. Now he's in his 15th NFL season! Most durable Crimson NFL player I can remember.
