16-17, not sure if Coyle or Stuberg was considered the true starter

Southeastern Louisiana returns 9 on offense, 8 on defense. Though like most schools, we play a lot of players so you can count starters a number of different ways.

The NDSU Bison will return 18 of 22 starters from their 2012 Championship team. Really though they are returning 20 of 22, as two starting underclassman will be back from season ending injuries from this last year. 2013 was supposed to be the year the Bison would make a serious run at the title do to a great junior class. I hope that remains to be true.

Coyle was.

The Griz return both kickers, 10 starters on defense (all but Harris), and either 5 or 6 on offense depending on whether Trevor Poole does what he needs to do. So it's either 17 or 18.

This is all barring any last-second transfers or whatever.

losing lund, martin, bruhn and ollman. technically 19 since ollman was a backup to heagle but pierre and hinz have previous starting experience at CB and C, so you could say 21

On offense we lose Kaufmann, Herd, Edwards, (WR's) Padron (QB), and Post (T), but Adams started more games than Padron so depending on how you look at it, we have 6-7 returning.

On defense we lose Minnerly (S), Johnson, Washburn (LB's), Ena and Ceja (DE's) and Cook (DT), but Tonani started 5(?) games in replacement of Minnerly so 5-6 returning.

As mentioned earlier, with injuries and platooning the D.L., there's quite a few starts behind the losses.

Joseph finished the season as the SWAC's leading passer. He was 210/359 25 TDs 7 Ints 2516 yards. We're bringing in QBs this year to be ready to replace him in 2014
