- Best Performance: (#1) North Dakota St. 23, (#5) Georgia Southern 20 - The Bison are outgained noticeably by a SoCon option team for the second-straight week, but make the most of 13 Eagle penalties & some questionable clock/timeout management by GSU in getting back to Frisco.
Worst Performance: (#2) Eastern Washington 42, Sam Houston St. 45 - It's hard to think of anything more ambivalent than seeing your backup quarterback throw 6 touchdowns in one half & still lose the game.
