Is it even a rivalry anymore? The football team has won about 2/3 of the meetings, the men's BB team has won 7 of the last 8, and the Lady Griz are 66-18 all-time against MSU.

I'm not sure where you got those numbers from, but EWU is actually 10-24-1 against Montana.

Yes, you got to admit, there is no game that both Bobcat and Grizzly fans look forward to the most,
Weber leads the series with Idaho State in football 34-14, and Weber leads the series in basketball 62-40. But both teams crowds always get excited to watch these rivals go at it,
I will admit though, that the game I always look forward to is not Idaho State, but Montana. I used to get excited about the game vs SUU, but they dont play anymore sadly.

Among our regular (i.e. playing every year/every other year) opponents, Columbia has the best record for us with 51-14-5. All others are teams who do not play us anymore (e.g. Division III schools today, Davidson, Carlisle - gone today, Boston College 3-0-1).

I don't know the record, but UNI has won 11 or 12, I think, in a row against Youngstown State.

Not sure what your angle is on this but I will take the bait.
The garage door is there for many reasons. I'll start with the turf and work my way to the door. The dome is a multi use facility. It holds football, indoor track, concerts, boat shows, etc... The turf is hard, because it is old and the surface under it is a rubber indoor track. It isn't as hard as people want to make you think, but it isn't soft by any means. Since it is a multiuse facility the turf needs to be rolled up and taken out. This requires use of tractors. It also means that ambulances, boats, trailers, RV's, concert set up crews, etc... need access to the dome floor. There is a garage door on both side of the dome, but only one is really used. The door on the other side leads into the McCleod Center or to a garage door leading to the road on the side of the dome. The garage door, while widley made fun of is vital to the use of the dome.
The turf will be replaced with field turf, once the legistics of how to install and unistall it for other events get worked out. Coach Farley and Troy Dannon, the AD at UNI, have been talking with Field Turf reps weekly for the last month or so trying to get it worked out for this year. Field turf can't be rolled and needs much more storage than the astroturf, which has been the big hold for about 4 years now.
