Playoffs

EIU 10-58 SDKST
CCU 24-14 BCOOK
NOVA 10-20 SBU
COLG 20-31 WAG

  • Best Performance: South Dakota St. 58, Eastern Illinois 10 - Zach Zenner & Reggie Gandy combine for 446 yards rushing (9.1 ypc) and 5 TDs against an EIU squad that was allowing just 3.3 ypc coming in.

Worst Performance: Eastern Illinois 10, South Dakota St. 58 - The OVC's pathetic playoff jinx continues uncontested despite a 100-yard receiving day from Erik Lora and a 100-yard rushing day from Jake Walker.

Most Surprising Result: Wagner 31, Colgate 20 - The Seahawks, who had only forced 12 turnovers on the year coming in, get 5 takeaways & become the first team to hold Colgate under 30 points since September 8.

GRAM 33-38 SU (in New Orleans, LA)

  • NConf Record: 0-1

    Overall: 1-8

Best Performance: Southern 38, Grambling 33 - Dray Joseph throws for 284 yards and 5 touchdowns in sending Grambling to a winless season in the SWAC.

Worst Performance: Alabama St. 25, (DII) Tuskegee 27 - The Hornets have now lost 13 of the last 17 in this series despite every every single one of those meetings being held at home in Montgomery.
