The Big Sky has been around since 1963, however, I have only been able to find two Big Sky logos. The current logo and the one it replaced. Prior to that, I have not been able to find what the logo looked like between 1963 and the end of the 20th century. Anyone have pictures of the logo prior to 2000?

I'm pretty sure the logo before the new one was put in place well before 2000. I don't even remember one prior to that.

This marks the first time the 49-year-old league has undergone a rebranding campaign. The league had used the prior logo since the mid-1990s. The new logo will appear on uniforms, fields and playing courts in each university’s colors.

so there apparently was no logo prior to the 90's

Having been a fan in the Big Sky since 1976, I can't recall a conference logo before the one in the 90's. Actually, I can't recall a conference logo for any conference much before that. The teams had logos of course, but I don't think any conference had actual logos. Conferences developed the logos as college football and basketball became more prevalent on TV.

That is very similar to the Montana (State) Flag
