I'm going, but it won't be an exciting game. It'll easily be the worst attended classic ever.

I'm a realist, one team is 1-9, the other is 3-7. Southern has only been consistent at being inconsistent.

As stated before can hardly wait Williams problem is no size at WR position too bad Berry isn't his teammate. He would probably be a Payton nominee??Hopefully Berry can use this game as a chance to increase his NFL status!!!

Of course, I'm always in my seat from the pregame warmups until the trophy presentation. Although halftime is no contest.

You must have totally misunderstood what I said. I'm saying that I'm there for the entire thing, from the pregame to the postgame. Halftime is no contest because Southern is better than grambling. I'm a football fan first and foremost.

According to the company hired to manage the Bayou Classic a year ago, the event will draw more than 200,000 visitors to New Orleans this weekend.

If that’s so, then 160,000 of them probably won’t attend Saturday’s Southern-Grambling game in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

NDSU beat Prairie View 66-7, which could have been 100-0, and PV beat Grambling State 31-14.....

How many will attend this game?

I saw PV in person....not a very good team at all.

Seems that Frazier was a major part in that resurgence. It's no surprise that he goes to NC Central and they duplicate PV's success under his tenure.

That's probably close ... Bayou Classic attendance has really suffered over the last several years, especially since Katrina ... not to mention neither Southern or Grambling was very good this year.

It definitely isn't what it used to be. I remember watching the games where there were 70,000+ in the stands.
