How do you miss a 21 yard field goal to win the game?????

Yeah hope this continues vs Bethune and that FG attempt was blocked!!!! The ppl at Sports Network already has Bethune in playoffs I sent email to Craig Haley and said NCCU isn't dead yet!!!!

Referring to the one with 2 mins to go in regulation. Tied 17-17, DSU ball inside the NCCU 5. Our kicker completely whiffed on it. He was scared stiff.

Should have never gotten to OT. This is the second time that kicking issues cost us a game this year.

The Cats have the head-to-head tiebreaker over Central from beating them last week. Would need to lose to Savannah and FAMU and the Eagles to win out to win the autobid. Seems unlikely.

I was hoping that if DSU won out and BCU lost in the Florida Classic we could possibly have won a tiebreaker scenario...which I believe would have gone all the way to Sagarin ratings. (no head to head, common opponents wouldn't apply), but oh well. Time for us to start planning for next year.

Savannah and FAMU might play spoiler roles to keep us out.We picked the wrong time to lose to BCC 42-17 better play like nothing to lose for the rest of the season.

Sorry, NCCU may not be dead, but they are on life support with little hope of recovery. If they win out they will be 8-3. That probably won't get them an at large.

Their best hope is to finish 2-0 and hope Bethune goes 0-2. Bethune going 0-2 is unlikely since they face a terrible 1-8 Savannah State team next week and finish at home with 3-6 FAMU.

NCCU must win both of it's remaining games and get a lot of help to make the playoffs. Possible, but unlikely.

Yes and seeing as how Taylor has officially called it quits after 40 yrs in the hbcu coaching ranks that will be all the motivation the Rattlers will need!!!! Hope the Tigers find a source of motivation as well maybe bulletin board material!
