Thanks man, but the difference is the Montana is so scared to piss off the NCAA they are keeping two coaches who are WAY over their heads on staff. Unfortunately, they happen to be the head defensive and offensive coaches.93henfan wrote:Montana seems to be about a week ahead of Delaware in the suckitude department. Thankfully we had a bye today, so no OT will be needed for the patrolmen on the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
Stay strong Griz Nation.
You do the same, Henbro. Almost grabbed a 4 pack of Dogfish to kill the pain, but decided on hard cider instead. Time to drink until I can't feel feelings.93henfan wrote:

I was hoping you guys could hold it together. I was scoping out plane tickets to the Brawl on Nov 17. Was hoping it would mean something.Grizalltheway wrote:You do the same, Henbro. Yeah, it looks like I'll be heading to Cheney to get my playoff jollies this year. FML.93henfan wrote:I was hoping you guys could hold it together. No doubt. We obviously have the capacity to beat almost anyone, but will have to settle as a second tier team until we sack the problem.ASUMountaineer wrote:Thanks Griz for making our win over you look pretty shitty.

Absolutely. I think you guys will be able to close out games next season. With the run UM has had for two decades, it's acceptable to have a down year or two.SeattleGriz wrote:No doubt. Still happy we played ASU, for it WAS a great matchup.

Anyway, I'm not saying "I told you so", but I seem to recall a bunch of Griz fans assuring everyone that all the off-season stuff would be a non-factor on the field this season. That losing a HC, O and D coordinators etc. was nothing to be alarmed about. I predicted 8-3 or 7-4 for the Griz. 7-4 is still possible if tey can pull their collective heads out of their asses.

Trouble with that is, that every time someone on the Griz staff pulls their head out of their ass, and ya' think things will get better...two more staff members put their heads in their asses!EWURanger wrote:The thing is, Montana could still be a bubble team if they can win out and beat the Cats, who are beatable.

I actually hope that Montana wins out to go 7-4 and get a play-in game. Cats will make it in as will Cal-Poly, but I'm not sold on NAU yet. And of course, I hope EWU can finish strong. I see 4 Big Sky teams making it in this season.Grizo406 wrote:Trouble with that is, that every time someone on the Griz staff pulls their head out of their ass, and ya' think things will get better...two more staff members put their heads in their asses!EWURanger wrote:The thing is, Montana could still be a bubble team if they can win out and beat the Cats, who are beatable.

Congrats, Tbird, your school is now a member of a very exclusive club.SUUTbird wrote:Was finally able to see a game in Washingon Grizzly and have to say thank you Montana fans, you guys were great and made me want to come back again.
Am super pumped that my T-Birds were able to overcome a tough test on the road and to beat the Griz (no one was giving them a shot and this is easily one of the biggest wins in our programs recent history) and gives us some very slimp hopes to get into the playoffs this season (if we win out).
If you're referring to winning in Wa Griz, they've already done it before.Grizalltheway wrote:Congrats, Tbird, your school is now a member of a very exclusive club.SUUTbird wrote:Was finally able to see a game in Washingon Grizzly and have to say thank you Montana fans, you guys were great and made me want to come back again.

Really? You think Montana will be the fourth team in at 7-4 and not NAU?"I actually hope that Montana wins out to go 7-4 and get a play-in game. SUU will be a test, that's by no stretch going to be a gimme, and right now Cal Poly is playing the best football in the conference and have the best overall record. So, as of right now you won't be favored in that game. UC Davis isn't great, but they're no push-over, either (see last week's MSU game). UNC and ISU are no-brainers...but, the other three not so much. One thing's for sure, NAU really got over by not having to play MSU or EWU this season.JackParty wrote:Really? NAU is 5-1. Which 3 teams are gonna beat NAU? UCD that just barely beat Idaho State? or maybe winless Idaho State or Northern Colorado?![]()
Or maybe SUU or Cal Poly both of whom they play at home.
How many brewskis did you have after your big win over the cats? Congrats by the way but I think that red rug is given off some biochemical fumes that have distorted your ability to reason.
Wait, how did Rosenbach & Gregorak lose this game? Especially Gregorak: the Griz D got a ton of sacks and denied the big play; SUU only drove the field once the entire game. Keep in mind the Griz secondary is very young & you don't want them on islands very often, especially with a QB like Sorensen.SeattleGriz wrote:Need to fire both the offensive and defensive coordinator.
