OVC Question

I don't know if this has been answered on other threads throughout the season: Is there a reason Tennessee State and Eastern Illinois do not play each other this year? Did something happen last year that caused them to cancel this year's meeting? Since those other teams only play 7 conference games, while everyone else plays 8, is anything going to be done to address that when the Autobid is determined?

Tennessee State plays an extra "Classic" or other HBCU game or something so they only end up playing 7 conference games instead of 8.

Oh....ok. It especially threw me off because they played 8 OVC games last year....but I see that most years, they only play 7. That is quite dumb...

how does the process of determining the conference autobid account for teams playing fewer conference games?
