The Pistol had no bullets in this one. Totally disarmed by NAU's dominant defense.

On a sad note a fine defensive player - 4 yr starter for PSU went down with a concussion. His 8th in his career. He was told by the doctors his football career is over. I want to give it up for Joel Sisler #42 PSU.

Just enjoying the Big Sky. Great conference.

Do you have a link for that? None of my sources will confirm that.

Jalmond...it is not public yet I don't think. Inside info.Got if from the players. Terrific kid. He took it hard. One of the NAU players use to play for PSU and is still friends with a number of PSU players.

Trying to get any injury information from this coaching staff is like pulling teeth. But both Kelly and Riley do not release much in terms of injuries on their teams (UO and OSU) so maybe it is par for the course up here. The sources I talked to were surprised I had heard of it as Sisler was supposed to come in this afternoon (Sunday) for "tests", as well as "other players".

The coaching staff still has not declared our kicker, Brown, as out for the season but all indications are that he is.

Well you know concussions are a touchy subject. From what I understand he has had 8. Way too many. He had already missed a few games this season with a concussion. It is probably not something they want to make public. He was still fuzzy after the game. Not sure who makes the decision to end a kids career but it is sad.
