How 'bout that?! First poll that actually has NAU over UM. What a novel thought. That said, Da Cit is still below GSU. I also think UNI and Appy are woefully under ranked, and SHSU is much too high.

I'm not convinced Towson deserves to be where they are on this list. The game against JMU after this weeks trip to LSU will be very telling.

Just in case you didn't notice, Appy, at home, gave up 27 points and 483 yards of offense, over 300 of those through the air, to a very beatable retooled Montana team and barely won despite generating 4 turnovers against the Griz's less than steller QB.

Appy also gave up 52 points and 618 yards to The Cit, 463 of those on the ground, while getting absolutely beaten in all phases of the game.

And Appy lost 35-13 to a sorry azz FBS team whose only wins have come against Appy and a pathetic 0-3 conference mate.

So, Appy has no defense against the run, no defense against the pass, and no wins that make any kind of power statement. So, why should Appy be ranked higher?

I appreciate Cluck pointing out the obvious stats from the games App has played so far. Maybe he'll expound on the strength of the Blue Hen schedule so far...that 4-0 is impressive when the teams have maybe 2-3 wins between them, but at least there were no FBS teams and includes impressive domination over a DII school, an HBCU that has never beaten you, and a winless W&M team.
