Big Sky Predictions - 9/22

NAU @ Montana - Game of the Week.
UNC @ MSU - MSU wins big.
SUU @ PSU - A close one if the Viks solve their defensive woes. I think they will.
UND @ Sac State - A tale of schizophrenia. If the CU-game Hornets show up, Sac wins in a rout. If the UNC-game squad comes out of the locker room, UND wins a squeaker.
EWU @ Weber State - A good, tight, yet entertaining matchup.
UCD @ Cal Poly - The 'Stangs convincingly hold serve.
ISU @ Nebraska - An unfortunate slaughter.

Montana - The Jacks never win in Missoula.
UNC @
MSU - Could be closer than some think, but UNC doesn't have enough of an offense to win this one.
SUU @ PSU - PSU hasn't shown enough to make me thing they will win this game.
UND @
Sac State - I'll give Sac the nod since they are home, but this could go either way.
EWU @ Weber State - Homer pick, but I think we will win this game.
UCD @
Cal Poly - Home team wins.

If the game was at Grand Forks I'd pick UND over Sacramento State. But otherwise, seems as if I agree with most of the above. EWU should win quite handedly at Weber State, though. At least that's my guess.
Main question is whether Northern Colorado is a better team than Drake; if so, boobscats have their work cut out for them. It happens every year as the Bozoville Comical sportsbeat writers go so goes the boobscats; it goes to their heads while they read the headlines.
Best start since 1977!!! It's always that way with them; always snipping away at the silver lining. They ought to be thankful they can even field a team.
Chump, the mascot, fills in on the OL and steps on their QB.

Not saying MSU has lived up to their billing, because they haven't, but SFA is a better team than Drake, by a fair amount.

UND's offense has been impressive so far. I saw most of the first half of their game at SDSU and they moved the ball with ease and they look to be hitting on all cylinders...their defense is another matter. I'm hoping the back to back trips to Cali takes it's toll. A crappy showing similar to the UNC game and we lose easily.

In regards to our matchup against PSU for our first Big Sky game of the season (Dont remember if it is counting as a non conference one or whatever the stupid system they installed says) I really like my T-Birds chances going into this game. Feel that we will be able to throw the ball with Sorensen but expecting a good game from a much improved Viking football team.

NAU @ Montana - Me thinks UM is better than I thought they'd be after all the off-season troubles. Easy win.
UNC @ MSU - Still think MSU is best in the conference. Blowout win for the Bobcats.
SUU @ PSU - Overhyped SUU meets another good team in their meat-grinder schedule. PSU by 2 scores.
UND @ Sac State - Two teams that match up well, but UND too potent on offense. UND by 2 scores.
EWU @ Weber State - I don't know. I just think EWU is quite a bit better.
UCD @ Cal Poly - CP wins in a blowout for the Golden Horseshoe. Davis struggling for a couple years now.
ISU @ Nebraska - What's the point? Oh yeah............$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I really think that Cal Poly should beat Davis this weekend, but I thought that the last two years and we did not. This is our rivalry game and the best team does not always win. As they say, you can throw out each teams records in this one. Should e a great game in a sold out stadium.

The best observation posted on this board for this game. The Aggie offense is really struggling but with the same under-performing QB that beat Cal Poly the last two years. For us Aggie fans we would really like to see our second string QB London Lacy in this one. Hopefully our coach will put him in for half the game if we are way behind (or way ahead - much less likely). I will be in the top of section 101 with the rest of the Aggies who post on various boards. I am not posting any score predictions.
