In the FCS out of 122 teams:
Offense:
#3 in Points per game with 50.7
#5 in yards per game with 514.3
#5 in total passing yds with 1011
#29 in total rushing yds with 532
#1 (tied) in TD passes with 14
#12 (tied) in Int's thrown with 1
#24 (tied) in rushing TD's with 6
Defense:
#70 in points allowed per game with 28.7
#78 in yards allowed per game with 396.7
#84 in passing yds allowed with 660
#74 in rushing yds allowed with 530
QB Marcus Hendrickson leads the FCS in QB rating with 191.0 with QB throwing more than 20 passes. He is 8th in yards, and #2 in TD passes.
WR Greg Hardin is #1 in Receiving yards with 435 and #1 in TD receptions with 7.
In short great offense, but horrible defense. If UND can fix that defense they could be a powerful team on the horizon.

After week one we beat Portland State then played FBS San Diego State I think those two games sums up our offense. 45 against PSU and 41 at SDSU with our backup QB...damn you sound like a Bison fan.

So will UND stick with their backup at Sac? I caught most of the first half and he looked good.

Football isn't the end all... I had to drive downtown, 3 miles, and back because I didn't have any coffee in the house. Because I am a fancy person, and the place I like to get my coffee ground is closed on the weekends I went to Liquid Planet. And they didn't have what I wanted so I got something else. And liberty sucks ass, BJflamerfan is a douche, Darrell is getting on my nerves, I am hung over from drinking too many shots last night, but you are cool. I like mexICANs.

UND's defense needs to get better...period.
But if their games turn into track meets they can hang with anyone it looks like.
Ya, it will be interesting to see if Hanson can get his starting job back.

What about school of mines?? That padded the stats, PSU's only win is against Carrol college hardly a measure of a program so far, and San Diego St has only beat a really crappy Army team, get back to us after running half the BSC schedule. This will be interesting To see how the team reacts with the second straight road trip to Cali for a late game

Basically I put those stats up because compared to last year where UND struggled on offense this is some great stuff. I mean UND beat Drake 16-0 to start the season then scored only 14 on Idaho and 23 on Fresno so 53 points on their first three games of last year, enter a new QB, mature receivers and you have 50 points per game. Erase the 66-0 game over Mines but you have 45 on a BSC team, and 41 on a MWC team. That is saying something for this UND offense they can put points on the board...but BisonfaninNWMN is right, our defense needs to get better because if our offense sputters...we are screwed.
