They may be the real deal this season. I didn't get to watch, just relegated to getting painful texts every 10 minutes. 600 yds of offense against us with two more TO offenses to face means we better get our shit together. We can't afford to overlook any team this season.......

Be glad you missed it. Citdogs beat us in every phase of the game and made us look very slow. Never thought I'd see a Citadel team that had more team speed than the Apps. They killed us on the outside and no one has tackled Dupree yet. I think they threw the ball just to break the boredom of 15-25 yard runs. Their placekicker had to ice his leg at halftime from kicking extra points and kickoffs.

Doesn't make me feel as good about the loss to App as I did last week. OUCH!

We were #1 in the nation in rushing (I-A and I-AA) but I would have to look up what the average numbers are.

GSU shut us down pretty good when they had to, and that surely hurt our average. If we can win the ones we are supposed to I could care less if we average 200 total per game.

As much as I love the Dogs, uh, no. They shouldn't be number 1. But they should probably be a top 5 team.

Someone might want to watch the NDSU v GSU game to get some tips on how to stop the TO. NDSU put on a clinic. There are other teams that can play decent against it. But to shut it down takes everyone keeping their assignments and a missile at SS. You have a safety who wants to get dirty on D to stop the TO.

You know I said in a post right after the Dogs beat CSU dogging Quinn for not making the right adjustments. Fact is it wasn't Quinn or the adjustments. The Dogs are just a damn good team. Go dogs.
