Portland State at Washington

Kickoff scheduled for 1pm PDT from CenturyLink Field in Seattle. The Vikings step up to the Pac-12 and face the Washington Huskies. The Vikings this week fired their defensive coordinator and now hope to have the defense get off to a quick start. This is a homecoming of sorts for PSU coach Nigel Burton as he played safety at Washington for three years and got his degree from UW. Portland State sits currently at 1-1 with a win over NAIA Carroll College and a loss last week at North Dakota. Washington last week got blown out at LSU, 41-3 so they are going to be looking for some payback in this game. The Big Sky enjoyed moderate success last week against the Pac-12, winning one game (Sac State over Colorado) and staying within striking distance in the other two (EWU against Washington State, SUU against California). Weather should be great, sunny skies and temps in the 70's at gametime.

Man I hope Portland State plays well and Washington doesn't. I cannot stand the Husky fans.

I can't stand Husky or Cougar fans, but if I had to choose, I'd say Husky fans are marginally better.

End 1st

I-5 North 14
I-5 South 0

UW moved the ball pretty well first two series. PSU D has come alive somewhat. UW just had successful fake punt to keep a drive going. PSU so far 0-2 on 4th down.

Why? Contrary to popular opinion, it's not an auto-loss. Just ask Michigan, Oregon State, Ball State, Colorado, and Minnesota....

Halftime

Pac-12 45
Big Sky 0

Huskies returned a blocked FG for TD and also had INT return for TD in that 2nd quarter.

Huck the Fuskies. There is not a more arrogant fan base. I hope they go 0 for in the Pac-12.

They're both darlings when compared to Idaho fans. But they're just pathetically arrogant.

Alle9219 or whatever continued with his belief that all FBS is superior to all FCS, saying that even Idaho could upset the Patriots if given enough tries. :dunce:

Yeah, that would be smart. You do realize that the majority of FCS schools rely on these games to keep their programs afloat, yes?

Your program (same here) wouldn't survive financially without them.
