Interesting that I had 9 of the sagarin top 10 in my top ten, the only difference being App State instead of GSU. Hadn't looked at the Sagarin until tonight (voted late last night).

W-L counts too much at this point with computer rankings. Or should I say a Loss kills you.

That's the only reason Albany is in the Top 25 and Towson isn't.

Sorry - should have clarified - I don't like any computer rankings. But I certainly like the ones that rank my team higher better than those that don't... :D

Jeff Sagarin uses a weighted method in the first month that essentially starts with 2011 as a baseline. The teams are not *well-connected* for 2012 until the first 4-5 weeks of the year.

Even though Appalachian won Sat, EZU beat them last Sat, and got curb-stomped by South Carolina, causing the Hillbillies to take a big hit in what little *2012 connections* exist.
