NDSU vs Robert Morris

What do you guys think?

A game the Bison should win w/o much trouble. RMU came into the FD in 2010 and played pretty well in that playoff game. The Bison wore them down in the 2nd half and put the game away.

The Bison defense has the potential to be even better than last year. I'm expecting little drop-off from them.

The offense has some holes to fill especially on the O-line and WR. Our power west-coast offense is not flashy, boring at times, so it will be interesting to see if RMU stacks the line and 'dares' the Bison to pass. Between Ojuri and Crockett at RB, our running game should be fine if the O-line can gel. Jensen (QB) proved himself last year, now the new WRs have to step it up.

I think the Bison win this pretty easily. The offense might take a half to find its 'groove' but the defense will completely shut down RMU. The Colorado State game the next week will be a good test.

Bison win 45-3

Bizon roll in this one, and will probably take down CSU, as well...

I doubt this game will ever even be in question. Da Bizzon roll big by 2-3 TD's.

The Bison have had a tendency to start slowly in games like these, but I still see a 20 point lead at least by the half and probably a 45-0 type final score. Robert Morris will have trouble with the Bison defense, but we'll see how well the Bison offense comes together with potential line issues and not much for proven WR (assuming Ryan Smith is still out).

NDSU blows them out. Not going to be a contest. The Colorado State game is anyone's guess, though.

45-0 early in the 4th, backups getting playing time.

Looks like I was pretty close. Up 17-0 at the half and win 52-0.

Good opening game for the Bison. A lot of 2nds and 3rds got playing time in this game. IMO, our passing game is going to be much improved over last year with a healthy Vraa playing. Crockett (RB) is going to be special this year. RMU was totally overmatched.

After watching some of the Colorado State game highlights, NDSU should win that game next week. Their defense is their strong point but their offense is pathetic.

GO BISON

I'm not at all convinced NDSU will win or if they should be favored. The altitude will play a role, I think. Plus it is their home opener. It's not going be as easy as most NDSU fans think it is.

I don't think it will be easy but after watching CSU highlights, the Bison defense should be able to 'handle' anything the CSu offense has for them. The CSU defense will give the Bison offense some trouble but I think the Bison will win.

Altitude will not be a factor at all. These guys are in shape.

I know its only one game but compare it to the 2011 Bison team...big difference in the two teams or are we looking at a carbon copy of the NC team.

Very similiar, although the passing game is much improved which should be a big help. If they can keep sam from putting the ball on the carpet every game, and continue to fly to the ball on d, should compete every weekend.

don't kid yourself. Altitude is a bitch, id be shocked if ndsu players weren't hooked to oxygen by the end of the first quarter.

NFL, NBA, NHL, olympic trained athletes all players freely admit altitude in Colorado is a bitch.....ndsu maybe in shape, but playing a couple thousand feet in elevation is almost imossible to "be in shape for" unless you train in it

kinda like montana st.? that went well... our team is fairly deep so it wont be too much a concern. the offense could be different because we arent deep there other than RB. sure it will be different than playing in fargo but we are also a very conditioned team. when we beat msu the bobcats looked more tired in the 4th quarter than ndsu

I'm going on past history for The Bison. The Wyo game didn't create any problems for the Bison, as said by the players and coaches after the game.

Like I said, no problem.
