TOWSON, Md. – Quarterback Joe Brennan, who appeared in six games at the University of Wisconsin last season, has transferred to Towson University and will play for the Tigers this season, it has been announced by Coach Rob Ambrose.

A native of Audubon, N.J. and a graduate of Camden Catholic High School, Brennan has three years of eligibility remaining.

“We are thrilled to have a player of Joe’s potential join our family,” said Coach Ambrose, who led the Tigers to a 9-3 record and the Colonial Athletic Association championship last year. “He is a quality young man who understands what it means to be a Tiger and he is excited about our future here.”

Rated as the top high school quarterback in New Jersey as a senior, Brennan was a two-time All-South Jersey selection. That should make things interesting in camp, especially being a week out. What are his chances of being the starter in the next couple of weeks?

I don't blame the kid for transferring and I don't see anything wrong with Towson picking him up.

I know this... if I'd signed out of HS and sat the bench while a grad student QB with one year of eligibility transferred in and was given the job for the second consecutive season I'd be pissed too and looking to leave. IMO this is a bad precedent for Wisconsin. If I was a HS coach or a HS QB in that state I'd think twice about that program.

As for Towson... the kid has 3 years eligibility remaining so that's a good pick up.

Yes. And this is Enders final year at QB.
