A late transfer to Portland State last fall, he was expected to contribute at safety but only got into one game because of injury... will compete for a starting role at safety in 2012.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2011
Joined the team after the season had started... took a couple weeks to practice and learn the system... played in one game against Montana State (10/8) making four tackles... suffered a broken foot and missed the remainder of the season.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Competed in all 14 games at Nevada in 2010, starting four at safety... made 28 total tackles on the season, had one pass breakup and one forced fumble... had a career-high five stops against Utah State.
Played one season at Palomar Junior College.. earned All-Conference and All-Region honors in helping the team to the Southern California Championship... had 65 tackles, three sacks and one interception.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Andrew Hill HS in San Jose, Calif…rushed for 1,527 yards and scored 26 touchdowns as a senior…averaged 9.73 yards per carry and over 12 yards per reception…rushed for a career high 244 yards against Yerba Buena, including an 86-yard touchdown…made 43 tackles and intercepted two passes as a cornerback…lettered in football all four years and was the team captain as a senior.
