Started the first nine games of the season at strong safety and played in all 11... was seventh on the team with 38 total tackles... also had 1.5 tackles for loss and one interception return of 50 yards... had a season-high seven tackles at Oregon (9/18)... made six tackles at Weber State (10/23) and picked off a pass, returning it 50 yards.... had five solo stops against Arizona State (9/4).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2009
Played in eight games with two starts at strong safety... missed three games with a leg injury... made 23 tackles with two tackles for loss, a sack and four pass breakups... had 10 solo tackles and two pass breakups in his first career start against Weber State (9/26)... made a sack and had a pass breakup in his first collegiate game against Oregon State (9/5).
