why would they install a football field if they weren't going to use it for football?oceanvue22 wrote:I don't think that's going to be used for football as I don't think Belleville campus of Lindenwood has a football team. Correct me if I'm wrong

Good post.fugawe09 wrote:As somebody who lives in the Southeast now, where if you're not FBS nobody has heard of you, Eastern Washington gained itself some recognition with their hideous field (yeah, I think they are better known outside the FCS circle for their field than their recent success). Any publicity is good publicity, right? Doubt it will be the same marketing magic bullet for all of these copy cats. I think it was the primacy effect. I'm curious as to how well that much white is going to hold up on this field. From that pic you can see it looks splotchy because of rubber pellets. I bet it will get traffic marks that darker fields hide.
Sorry to tell you this son but that field is still as ugly as the one above. As for my favorite field in the Sky besides Home, that would be Portland State now hands down.kalm wrote: Good post.
BTW, Polson, I took a swing by your second favorite stadium just yesterday and I swear it keeps getting more beautiful by the day!
I appreciate your secrecy admiration.
Meh. You like PGE because...polsongrizz wrote:Sorry to tell you this son but that field is still as ugly as the one above. As for my favorite field in the Sky besides Home, that would be Portland State now hands down.kalm wrote: Good post.

Don't forget all four sides actually look like a Football Stadium and the fact that you can drink in the stands...kalm wrote:Meh. 1) Soccer is played there
2) Portland has a ton of brew pubs and more strip clubs than churches
Sounds like a place I should visitpolsongrizz wrote:Don't forget all four sides actually look like a Football Stadium and the fact that you can drink in the stands...kalm wrote:
