High School: Seibel starred at tight end for the Blue Streaks this past season. He made 17 catches for 280 yards and two touchdowns. He also saw some time at linebacker, making three tackles for loss.
He was Second-Team All-Federal League and Honorable Mention All-Stark County, en route to playing in the Northeast Ohio Thanksgiving All-Star Game.

Prior to Western Carolina: Attended New Mexico State out of high school where he took a redshirt in the 2010 season prior to transferring to WCU; At Dudley HS: Played tight end as a prep, winning the state championship in football in 2007 & 2008 ... Recorded nine catches for 97 yards his senior year.

Personal: Is the son of Oddy and Phyllis Chavis ... Plans on majoring in sport management.

Originally walked on at Portland State... has found a role as a blocking tight end, vital to the Pistol system.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2011
Became an important blocker in the running game... participated in eight games, mainly in the “heavy” package when the Vikings went to extra tight ends... did not have any receptions.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2010
Played in two games late in the season on special teams.

2011 Season: Appeared in nine games, starting two…played both receiver and tight end…finished the season with three receptions for 29 yards…caught two passes for 16 yards against Eastern Washington…had a season long grab of 13 yards against Northern Arizona.

2010 Season: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: A 2010 graduate of Vanden HS in Vacaville, Calif...was a two-star recruit on both Scout and Rivals...named all-Solano County Athletic Conference, all-city and honorable mention all-Sac-Joaquin Section in 2009...hauled in 43 passes for 1,035 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior...averaged 24.1 yards per catch and 86.3 yards per game that season...during his senior season, he had four 100-yard games, including 172 against Dixon and 140 against Hogan...also scored a touchdown in nine of the team’s 11 games...is the all-time leading receiver at Vanden and the SCAC...defensively, he had 44 total tackles and three interceptions...as a junior, he caught 19 passes for 302 yards and three scores...also competed in basketball, track and golf.
