Name: Taylor Hill
Committed: to Michigan after committing to West Virginia after committing to Oklahoma
Hometown: Youngstown, OH
History: Apart of the Big 5 from Youngstown Cardinal Mooney. 5 c/o 2008 graduates that went bigtime:
Beachum/Zordich: Penn State
Marlowe: Nebraska
McCarthy: Notre Dame

Needless to say he is going to YSU now after not liking the direction of Michigan's program. It was down to Kent and YSU, and he made the smart choice of coming to the FCS!

He'll have 3 years as a Penguin LB, and he will be one hell of a force on defense.

Impressive transfer, ast least on paper. Although it sounds like he has problems making up his mind :)

That's what I was gonna say. Should fit in great with YSU, they need to make up their mind if they wanna be a good football team or not.

Who knows, this guy might commit somewhere else... is this an official commitment or is he just fickle?

Hope to see YSU back by 2010. This years visit to Stambaugh was sad. So few people. It was hard to get into the game with a couple thousand in that huge stadium.

And we got a RB that Michigan offered to. How sweet is that?

I do think YSU will be back this year because of a few reasons:
1. QB Back
2. Two starting running backs are back.
3. The 15+ injured players, I believe 12 of them will be back and ready to go.
4. Taylor Hill!

YSU football was DISMAL Last year. I wanted Coach Heacock gone, he isn't gone, so I feel this will be his last year if he can't get the job done again.

We are returning a lot and we got Hill on Defense which is a big help.... Here is how I view last year:

2008 SEASON:
-3 Blowouts: [OSU-SDSU-SIU]
-4 Wins [NDSU-INSU-CSU-WIU]
-5 Games we were in, could have won:
Liberty- blew a 14pt lead
Southern Utah- blew a 7pt lead and didn't score on 3 drives inside the redzone
Northern Iowa- we are cursed against them, we lose on a blocked XP and lose by 1!
Illinois State- up by as many as 11, up by 4 in the 4th quarter, blow it
Missouri State- was tied at half.

So in all reality we had a shot in at least 4 of those 5 games which very well could've made us 8-4. We were so banged up with injuries all year it was sickening. I thought I heard we had 23 new starters after the Ohio State game. 23 DIFFERENT PLAYERS started after that game, unreal!
