According to the Boston Globe, current NC Richmond head coach Mike London is one of the leading external candidates for the job created yesterday with the firing of Coach Jeff Jagodzinski..

This is such a bad time to be having coaching carousels. We went through this in 2007 when Bailiff left us, without warning, a month before signing day. Fortunately they only took a short time to move Wright up. Lots of anger with that move but I think they did the right thing at the time. It gave some continuity to the recruiting process; as Wright was the AHD at the time.
After 2 classes, some of those players have stepped up big (Bush, Rivas, Clark, Miller) and more in the waiting for next season.
I can only hope the upheaval this can cause a team, and whomever the staff was pursuing as recruits, doesn't hurt these schools too much.
(what am I saying? if they go down a bit our chances could improve

)

A coach getting a four/five year contract could make more there than 10-15 years at a FCS school...
