"Ex-UVa. QB Strauss transferring to UR

Michael Strauss, a quarterback who spent the past two seasons at the University of Virginia, will start classes at the University of Richmond today, the beginning of UR's spring semester.

Strauss has three seasons of eligibility remaining after redshirting in 2010 at Virginia, and not seeing game action this season for the Cavaliers. The 6-foot-2 204-pounder from the Miami area ended this season as the fourth QB on the Cavaliers' depth chart, behind sophomore Michael Rocco, freshman David Watford, and sophomore Ross Metheny. Rivals 3 star, showed 8 I-A offers, including Bama. Was 4th string at UVGay this past season, and projected 4th string for next season heading into rSo year, so sounds like he's been somewhat of a flop:

Good luck with that. Rocco was barely serviceable, can't imagine what #4 looks like.
