The poll is laughable and more evidence that winning it on the field in the FCS is a nice slogan. I think the further awaybyou get from the Champion NDSU BISON the more weight name recognition gets.

Players are not immune to that either. If it wasn't for the fact that you were playing in the NC, your players, and fans, would not have been all that excited with playing SHSU. Name recognition matters. It shouldn't, but it does.
