Im going to say Montana bc they have EWU & MSU every year + UCD & NAU 3 times over the next 4 years.

Can't be Montana. They don't have to play Montana.

I'd say UND. We play Montana and Montana state in the same year in the next 4 years. (2013 vs Montana is a non-conference game but still tough).

I would say UNC, is there anyone they can beat in the Big Sky?

If UNC was the bottom of the Big Sky this year, then UND would have to be the team with the hardest schedule, or at least tied with UNC. UND barely got by UNC this year thanks to a late second field goal and also barely got by Sioux Falls, a team that is transitioning from NAIA to DII. A win in both cases, but not the Montana's, MSU, EWU, etc, in terms of quaility competition. UND and UNC will be looking up at most of the Big Sky in the near future.

I love it when posters cherry pick stats to make a crappy point. Should we base our opinion of NDSU on how they did against YSU and SIU?

Yes, UND DID struggle to win against UNC -- IN COLORADO. And they struggled against Sioux Falls....you conveniently leave out the fact they also beat Drake, SUU, UCD and the mighty MVFC's USD. UND went 8-3, including 4-2 against FCS competition (including 2 new BSC members). Somehow I don't think UND is going to be the BSC doormat you bisonette fans hope they are. That role is already filled by UNC and ISU.

UND was very suspect last season. They can look good against quality teams like FBS Fresno State but then almost getting beat by Sioux Falls. This first season in the BSC is going to be tough enough for them, but it will be a good measure at where we stand. Its easy to say we will be at the bottom, but thats what they said at the beginning of the 2011 season and we won a share of the conference. History proves that North Dakota teams are tough and do NOT produce many losing seasons. 2010 was UND's first losing season since 1989. And we are very tough at home 57-10.

I do not know about the next four years, but I like Cal Poly's chances in Big Sky conference play in 2012. They do not play Montana, Montana State or Eastern Washington (we play @ EWU in a non-conference game) in conference games in 2012.

USD is going to be a "doormat" in the Valley for many years.

UND will have some growing pains for awhile but will eventually have success in the BSC.

Yeah I don't get it either. Only one conference has put half their teams into the finals or semis over the last decade, and it ain't the MVFC

Agreed. The weakest power conference in FCS has one of their teams in the NC game. You just never know.

No offense to UND, but I sure hope so. Not only are they a geographic outlyer, but 13 is a REALLY wierd number for football.
