Linebacker Mitchell Jon Goertz, safety Justin Anthony Belotti and cornerback Kenneth Ray Watkins Jr. were all seniors who made major contributions to UND’s defense this season.

Belotti was charged with possession of anabolic steroids and possession of Adderall.

Goertz was charged with possession of Adderall, possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Shame really.... :ohno:

The three former football players were key members of the team, and one won a national service award.

Goertz, from Weston, Wis., and Belotti, from Kenosha, Wis., started all 11 games this season
I'm confused
Says former player
that played 11 games this year

JBB, if you'd quit selling them your drugs, your program would be fine. Sad day for the SIOUX, and sad day for YOU.

Meaning they were seniors and the season is over for UND.

These players just played their last game a couple weeks ago. These three were the core of the team. Im sure they just kept their drugs to themselves, aren't you?

The question that comes up is when does a SR. become an ex-player. Here in Fargo once a BISON always a BISON. Thos folks at UND are sure quick to sign off on these fellers (sic). That isnt what an honorable Sioux Indian Tribe would do, oh no, they wouldnt disown their own at the first sign of serious trouble. Just another reason, lack of loyalty among themselves, that the naming issue failed. UND is showing no honor here.

Just for the record guys when it comes to drugs just say no. Dont end up like UND and their football team. Just a friendly reminder fellers (sic) and remember bearing false witness is one of the 7 deadly sins.

I warned UND about this over on AGS and other boards a year or so ago. This Kristo kid was in the news and his behavior looked to the educated lay-person like myself to be indicative of steroid use. In the recent past there have been several incidents of players being removed from the team because of uncontrollable emotional/violent outbursts.

Taken separately you could think they were isolated, independed incidents typical of young people. Everybody makes mistakes. Taken together they show a pattern for widespread steriod use that should have been a concern for those responsible adults in charge. I think darell and the others from UND whinned to the AGS moderators and I may have been banned for a couple weeks or something.

Now, I am demanding an apology from the UND fans and AGS. I was correct in my deductions about possible drug use in the UND Fighting Sioux athletic program and UND failed to take responsible actions to investigate a serious situation when probable cause appeared.

I never once whinned about you. You argue back and forth and thats fine but you don't threaten or name call in every post like Lakes does. IMO you shouldn't be banned at AGS.

This is a real good time for the Big Sky Conference to take a moment for reflection! A comedy of errors has left the conference stuck with the klinker!

Shame really..... :ohno:

No one really expects you to own up darell. Look at the situation with the fighting sioux name. Its part of the culture of hate up there. That may be the reason Und and the BSC were drawn together: birds of a feather you know!

This is also why Im concerned about "sweeping things under the rug". The practice at UND is blatant. X-UND Fighting Sioux football players! :ohno:
