Randy Eaton, former senior associate director of athletics at the University of Maryland, is the new director of athletics at Western Carolina University.

Said today that he hopes to have a new head coach hired by Christmas. I think this is possible, since the search committee set up by the new chancellor to recommend candidates for the AD job, has also been reviewing candidates for the football head coaching job as well.

I sincerly hope these guys work out for Catamount football.
