Coach of the Year
2011 - Chris Mussman, North Dakota
Rookie of the Year
2009 - Mitch Sutton, North Dakota

That made this conference a stepping stone into the FCS world.

Darell's absolutely right. All the teams that were in the GWFC used it to get where they are today. There's nothing really to laugh at, unless you're laughing at yourself.
