Do you think the Montana Teddy Bears are the most overrated team every year? I do I am sick of listening to the fans of that choke team every year telling everyone how good they are but never showing it.

Before you get to see your team play them yes they are. Afterwards, it's a different perspective.

the Griz are definitely good when playing within the state of Montana.
haven't really shown the same dominance outside those borders this season yet.

Guess we'll see how they stack up at Sam Houston State

We're 11-1 against FCS competition thsi year. I know we play in the friendly confines alot, but SOME of those wins were on the road, believe it or not.

Fishing or not, the thread title from a Bison fan compels me to respond.

I know it's only one game, but NDSU beat UNI by 8 points, and the "Teddy Bears" beat UNI by 38 points. Stealing a little somethin', somethin' from eGriz, how in the name of sweet baby Tebow, does that make the Griz overrated?

at Idaho State (who was a whopping 1-9 against D-I opponents)
a narrow win at Northern Arizona (who was 3-7 against D-I)

No, that isn't it at all. The point is that we never win road games. Except when we do. But the road games we win don't count. See how it works? The rule on home playoff games is very similar. If we get three in a row it's because we are overrated. If we get two at home and have to play the semifinal on the road, it's because we we didn't belong in the playoffs at all.

never said they were home games. I just threw ridiculous parameters on stats like all the baseball announcers do.

Remember that time NDSU played for an FCS title.....

Montana was under-rated prior to the Brawl, now they are where they should be, in the final four. Great to be part of the action as a NDSU Bison fan.

Agreed, the four best teams in the FCS are going to battle it out. Not sure how anybody can say any team left is overrated.
