Worst Performance: Appalachian St. 12, Maine 34 - The Mountaineers run for a pitiful 3 yards against a middling run defense.

Most Surprising Result: Appalachian St. 12, Maine 34 - App State is still obviously an elite program, but 3 of their last 4 playoff exits have come in ugly, ugly losses at Kidd Brewer Stadium.

West only played 11 downs. Reason, a poor week of practice. He still scored two TDs. Towson's starting center was out. And the Lehigh interior defensive line dominated.
