There are some intriguing names listed in the articles.
I find it interesting that Eastern Washington coach Beau Baldwin is listed as a candidate. I understand coaches moving up, but this would be a lateral transfer inside the same conference.
John L Smith is an intriguing possibility. Weber State went with the best pre-Urban Meyer coach at Utah and perhaps could replace him with the best pre-Gary Anderson coach at Utah State (and one that moved on to other schools including Michigan State).

That is a great hire - his only blip was at Mich State but that was as much an issue with a program and coach misfit than it was a coaching capability issue.
Better coaches = better competition = better football = better recruits across the conference - win / win for the BSC in my mind
